Every note carried a purpose at Anna’s Kicking Ass Karaoke Fundraiser last Sunday, as supporters rallied behind Anna-Maria Toby in her fight against Stage IV breast cancer. More than an afternoon of entertainment, the fundraiser rallied support for Toby, who is seeking to raise $5 million for specialised treatment in Florida. With karaoke, camaraderie and a cause worth singing for, the event struck a chord with supporters.
