The St Jago Park Health Centre in St Catherine will be closed for three days to facilitate the relocation of its network infrastructure and Electronic Health Record (EHR) system to a new building.

The St Catherine Health Department is reporting that the health centre will be closed on Thursday, August 27; Friday, August 28; and Monday, August 31.

According to the department, the temporary closure is necessary to allow the Management Information Systems (MIS) Department to safely and securely decommission, relocate, reinstall and test the EHR/SystmOne system and related network equipment.

Members of the public seeking healthcare services during the closure are advised to visit neighbouring health centres for routine care.

Those requiring urgent medical services are advised to visit Spanish Town Hospital.

The health department apologised for any inconvenience the temporary closure may cause and thanked the public for its cooperation and understanding as work continues to improve the facilities.
