Update |No confirmation yet on Kari Lake as US ambassador to Jamaica

The United States Senate is yet to vote on the nomination of former Arizona broadcaster and Republican politician Kari Lake as U.S. ambassador to Jamaica.
A vote on Lake’s nomination was listed on today’s Executive Calendar of the Senate for matters to be dealt with.
Among the items is a vote to approve en bloc, the nominations of several persons under Resolution 817.
Lake's nomination is listed separately and is not a part of that Resolution.
Earlier today, The Gleaner reported that Lake’s nomination was approved by the Senate in a vote of 51-45.
But that action was in relation to Resolution 817 and did not include Lake.
Lake was nominated by President Donald Trump in May and appeared before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in June.
Her nomination was advanced by the committee to the full Senate, where it remains subject to confirmation.
