Hayley Matthews drives square on her way to a century against Ireland at the Bready Cricket Ground in Ireland yesterday.

A return to form for Staphanie Taylor and a second consecutive century from Hayley Matthews put the West Indies Women 2-0 up, guaranteeing a series victory over Ireland.
Both scored even hundreds to give the West Indies a six-wicket victory.
Deciding to bowl at the Bready Cricket Ground in Magheramason, Ireland, The West Indies restricted Ireland to 241-7 from their 50 overs, despite half-centuries from Amy Hunter, 67, and Rebecca Stokell, 57.
Skipper Gaby Lewis got a start, scoring 24 from 36 at the top of the order, while her opening partner Sarah Forbes got to 17 before Deandra Dottin removed both openers.
Hunter used 87 deliveries to try to steady the ship and received good support from Stokell, who faced 76 balls for her tally.
Matthews made the important breakthrough, getting rid of Hunter and before that, Orla Prendergast for nine to end with figures of 2-34 from her 10 overs.
Dottin ended with 2-15 from five overs.
There were also wickets for Aaliyah Alleyne, 1-22, Afy Fletcher,1-67, and Karishma Ramharack, 1-53.
The West Indies reply did not start well with Realeanna Grimmond, who fell just shy of a century in the first ODI, facing just three deliveries before Prendergast had her caught behind for nought.
Enter Taylor, who along with Matthews repaired the damage, scoring 158 before Matthews went caught by Cara Murray off the bowling of Louise Little when she was on 100. Matthews knock came off just 94 deliveries, inclusive of 14 fours and two sixes.
Taylor saw the rest of the game out, scoring 100 off 105 deliveries, also striking 14 fours.
The West Indies needed just one ball short of 39 overs to overhaul the target, with Shemaine Campbelle ending on 10 not out from 16 deliveries.
For her 2-34 and century, Matthews was named player of the match, for the second match running.
Aimee Maguire was the best bowler for Ireland, bagging 2-52, while Prendergast ended with figures of 1-39, while Louise Little had 1-17.
