What's the real story here because this can't be it. - @ShannOmon

It's gonna be so funny watching crowds of ppl wait for the less-frequent buses and ignore the taxis. - @hatebaxx

Does our government just not understand how subpar and unprofessional many of these PPV operators are, not to mention how much less safe they are especially if you’re a young woman. This country makes living here needlessly difficult. - BigMeeish

This is ridiculous! Jamaica can’t stay stagnant just to please those who are becoming obsolete. - @Mr_Garlando

When I travel to Jamaica I prefer to take the JUTC buses than a taxi or coaster if I have to. No one can tell me this is a good decision. - @Demarinuh

What madness is this? JUTC serves the public or private taximan. I can’t believe this is a headline. - @IslandGlobal876

Nonsense! If they were driving properly and being nice to passengers, they wouldn’t have to worry about competition. - @YRialb

Backward move this. - @rhodenjax

Put some of the buses on the Junction/Treasure Beach, route thanks. - @EngraveM28752

They just took 10 steps back. - @mekgyalupset

We need to increase JUTC all over the country. - @Mikey01974692

I’m sorry, but is this not insane? Scaling back the safe, affordable, and reliable option so the smaller man, who doesn’t typically provide safe or comfortable transit and often hikes fares, can make a food? - @guinepskin

So the gov’t is scaling back on a public transport route because the private sector is complaining? You guys realize this means we are never getting the good reliable public transport system we been bawling for? - @gunnerbeeks

If anything, shouldn’t the private sector improve their services to incentivize the public to use them, instead of demanding that the gov’t make the lives of their citizens harder so they can secure a customer base? - @ayesha__bryan

So this means we won’t ever have a safe, reliable and efficient public transportation system for the entire Jamaica then. Right? Cause the taxi man them a go always bawl so … - @Terrizle

For a company that constantly reports losses year after year, how this mek sense. - @kadeen__
