Meadowrest - brickbats and bouquets

THE EDITOR, Madam:
Three years ago I wrote to you complaining about the state of the road leading up to Meadowrest Memorial Gardens in St Catherine. I had reason to travel to that cemetery last Saturday – and to my surprise the road had undergone substantial rehabilitation. Commendations are in order to those responsible for the fixing of what was once a wretched road.
I write, also concerning another related matter. It took me more than an hour to traverse the road leading to the cemetery last Saturday. That was because there was no proper flow of traffic going up or coming down. This is a recurring problem en route to Meadowrest. There is a need for traffic police or a security guard firm that could take charge of the flow of traffic on that road.
