However, the popular term ‘fat-cutting peptides’ can be misleading.
Peptides do not literally ‘cut’ or ‘melt’ fat from the body. Rather, certain peptide-based therapies may support weight reduction by influencing appetite and metabolic processes. The resulting weight loss may include a reduction in body fat, but the goal of responsible treatment should be broader than simply achieving a lower number on the scale.
