Cocktail enthusiasts gathered at The Jamaica Food and Drink Kitchen on February 13 for the Cupid’s Boozy Cocktail Workshop, where mixologist Brian Broderick showcased a delightful range of drinks made with Baileys and Smirnoff. The event was a fun, interactive experience, blending creamy, indulgent flavours with crisp, refreshing notes. Here are three recipes from the workshop that you can try at home. BAILEYS PINA COLADA TWIST

“The piña colada twist is definitely a crowd favourite,” says Broderick. This smooth, indulgent cocktail blends rich, creamy elements with tropical flavours like pineapple and coconut for a refreshing and satisfying experience, and it can be made with just three simple ingredients.

INGREDIENTS

3 oz Baileys Colada

2 oz Coconut Cream

2 oz Pineapple Juice

Ice

DIRECTIONS

Add the Baileys Colada, coconut cream, and pineapple juice to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds to mix and chill the ingredients. Strain into a glass filled with fresh ice, then garnish with a slice of pineapple or a cherry for a touch of tropical flavour.

THE RESET SPRITZ VODKA SODA

If you're after something light and bubbly, the reset spritz vodka soda is worth trying. It’s simple yet refreshing, with just the right balance of citrusy tang and effervescence. “This cocktail is ideal for those who love a fizzy drink with a clean, crisp finish,” Broderick shares.

INGREDIENTS

1.5 oz Smirnoff Apple Vodka

0.5 oz simple syrup

0.5 oz soda water

1 oz lime juice

Ice

Start by filling a tall glass with ice. Next, pour in the Smirnoff Apple Vodka, lime juice, and simple syrup. Stir gently to combine, then top with soda water and give it a final gentle stir. For an added touch, garnish with a lime wedge or apple slice.

SMIRNOFF TROPICAL VODKA PUNCH

If you're craving a cocktail that captures the essence of summer, the tropical vodka punch is perfect. This drink combines the bold flavours of orange and pineapple juice with the smoothness of Smirnoff Vodka, creating a vibrant and fruity cocktail.

INGREDIENTS

2 oz Smirnoff Vodka

2 oz orange juice

2 oz pineapple juice

Ice

DIRECTIONS
